I'm Anita M., the breeder behind TSD Bernedoodles located in Denison, TX. Bernedoodles have the capacity to be exquisite service dogs as well as phenominal pets. They have delightful personalities which endear them to everyone, they are one of the calmest doodle crosses, and they have the size and strength to handle just about any physical need of their owners.
Q. & A. with Anita
Why did you start breeding?
Trying to find the right dog to be suitable as a stable service dog, a versatile therapy dog, or a calm companion/pet has been my focus. Bernedoodles are the best multifunction dogs I have found, so I am striving to produce the best bernedoodles I can produce.
The height, breadth, and strength of bernedoodles allow them to meet the service needs of larger owners.
What makes your program special?
I do extensive personality testing on each dog involved in my breeding program. My foundation sire is a retired service dog, and all dams in my program have tested suitable for service work.
I administer the Volhard Test to all puppies at 7 weeks to establish their personality profile and tailor their placement in accord with the results.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Max
Retired service dog. He's calm, patient, and gentle with his babies.

Bernese Mountain Dog
About Briana
Briana is a lover. She thinks she’s a lap dog, and never misses a chance to place her head on my chest. She was temperament tested to be a service dog candidate, but Covid drastically changed our plans.
Sandi, mom
Bernedoodle
About Sandi
Started training as a service dog, but quit when Covid struck. She is an extremely devoted mom. Her gentle spirit even allowed other dogs to be near her newborns...under a watchful eye of course.

We had such a wonderful experience with Anita from TSD Bernedoodles! From the very beginning, she took the time to really understand our family dynamic and what we were looking for in a dog. Anita didn’t just place us with any dog—she carefully matched us with the perfect doodle for our situation and needs.
Ashley, the beautiful dog we brought home, has been everything we hoped for and more. She has such an even‑keeled, gentle temperament, loves to cuddle, and has fit seamlessly into our home. Even our vet was amazed at how well‑adjusted she is and commented that we “got a great dog,” which was such a reassuring confirmation of the breeder’s expertise and care.
We’re so grateful for the thoughtfulness, professionalism, and heart that went into this process. If you’re looking for a Bernedoodle and want someone who will guide you toward the right match, I can’t recommend Anita enough!
