I'm Susana V., the breeder behind Tugas Standard Poodles located in Seekonk, MA. Our dogs are bred for low prey drive, fun and loving family pets with calm and docile temperaments. We raise them on ENS, early scent and puppy culture. All our puppies are exposed to as much noise as possible, raised around other dogs,cats and children.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding my pet pugs 15 years ago, then bred English Bulldogs professionally and after taking a break from breeding, I fell in love with the Standard Poodle.
  • What makes your program special?

    I test or breeding dogs and don’t breed any that are genetics carriers of any health issues.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, brown, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Susana

Susana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes Limited or Full AKC, deworming, age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, small bag of food, and a small toy and chew. Deposit is refundable if I can not offer a health puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Susana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Breeder-Reported Testing

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
