Tugline Siberians

Kristen M.

Breeder of Siberian Huskies

Meet the breeder

I'm Kristen M., the breeder behind Tugline Siberians located in Pittsburgh, PA. Our dogs are beloved companions as well as successful show dogs. We breed on a limited basis. We do not produce dogs just to satisfy the pet trade and we do not breed for color. We strive to produce outstanding puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. We love our dogs and what we do, and we strive to make each puppy a great contribution to his or her forever home.

Q. & A. with Kristen

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding is a very small part of my involvement in Siberians. After titling many dogs in the show ring and years of mentorship and learning the correct structure and type of the Siberian Husky, breeding a few of my finished AKC Champions followed suit.
  • What makes your program special?

We make every effort with our litters to breed for correct Siberian temperament and conformation. The health of our breed is of utmost importance. We screen our dogs for genetically inherited diseases and make careful breeding decisions based on the health of our dogs and their relatives. We strive for quality not quantity in our breeding program. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
