Meet the breeder

I'm Maria G., the breeder behind Twin Sisters Doodles located in Fairfield, CA. Our parent dogs undergo complete DNA testing to insure genetic health. Additionally, they have OFA certifications for hips, elbows, patella and cardiac as well as Penn Hip certification. It’s our top priority to insure that all of our clients welcome a happy, healthy puppy into their homes!

Q. & A. with Maria

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always enjoyed raising and caring for animals. On the farm I have been involved with horses, cows, pigs, llamas, goats and chickens. I have been fortunate to share my life with some great dogs (purebred & pound pups). My life has always included a dog. With my love for dogs & my background, breeding dogs felt like a natural step to enjoy and share my love for animals, especially dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs do not live in kennels. All of my breeding dogs are family pets in their own happy homes. I believe this has a profound effect on the personality of the dog and in turn, the puppies. Each must pass Personality, DNA and OFA testing. I continuously strive to learn more about genetics and health issues in dogs. Our rural home gives our puppies and their parents room to run, explore and play.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Australian Labradoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Australian Labradoodle puppies include caramel cream, caramel, apricot, chocolate, cafe, lavendar, parchment, black, and tri-color. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

We are loving our new puppy “Rusty”! Talking to Mari was like talking to a dear friend. She showed us around the farm where the puppies are raised and Rusty followed. Maria answered all of our questions and made sure we had his blanket and other goodies before bringing him home. Rusty has adjusted well with his big sister Penny. They play non stop! We are excited to take him for walks after he receives his last vaccine. We are so happy Rusty joined our family. Thank you Maria!!
