I'm Howie T., the breeder behind Upstate Champion Kennels located in Rochester, NY. Our dogs are bred with their health being our first concern and our second priority is intelligence/temperment. We want to be able to produce French Bulldogs that can breathe well and go on hikes with no issues. Out goal is to breed companions that can relax with us on the sofa or climbing that trail.

Getting a puppy from Howie

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Howie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $9,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Spine (OFA, FCI), Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
