I'm Jennifer A., the breeder behind Urban League Cane Corso located in Compton, CA. Urban League Cane Corso has been breeding Cane Corsos since 2016 with a focus on temperament, structure, and health. Our puppies are raised in a family environment with early socialization to build confidence and stability. We are committed to preserving the integrity of the Cane Corso while producing loyal, balanced companions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I was raised around breeding dogs with my father, who worked with Pit Bulls and Dobermans. That experience gave me a strong foundation. Years later I fell in love with the Cane Corso for their loyalty, intelligence, and protective nature. In 2016 I started my own program focused on raising well-balanced dogs for families.

  • What makes your program special?

    My program focuses on temperament, structure, and health. As a nurse and a mother of a child with autism, stable temperament is extremely important to me. My dogs are raised in a family environment with children and early socialization. I prioritize strong structure, responsible breeding, and confident, well-balanced Cane Corsos.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
