Q. & A. with Melinda

  • Why did you start breeding?

We love this breed! Our dogs have brought us so much love and happiness that we decided to start our own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them with a wonderful life with wonderful families. Our beautiful pups are sure to make loving companions in the hunting fields and the home for your family for many years to come!
  • What makes your program special?

Urban Uplander strives to be an ethical breeder. In order to breed the best dogs possible, we must first provide DNA Genetic Tests, OFA-CHIC Health Tests, prove dogs through titling, find suitable sires/dams that compliment the temperament and workability of mate dogs, and have wonderful and serious owners committed to future pups.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include orange belton, blue belton and tan (tri-color), and blue belton. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
