Meet the breeder

I'm Sandra N. C., the breeder behind Urbane Retrievers located in Chicago, IL. We raise Labrador and Golden Retriever puppies with a focus on health, temperament, and early socialization. Our dogs are raised in a loving, clean home environment to help them become confident family companions.

Q. & A. with Sandra N.

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our journey into breeding started from a genuine love for Labrador and Golden Retrievers and the joy they bring into everyday life. We wanted to share that same companionship, loyalty, and happiness with other families. Since beginning our program, we have focused on raising puppies with excellent temperaments, strong health, and the loving personalities these breeds are known for.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are beloved family pets raised in our home with love and care. We focus on early socialization, proper nutrition, health, and raising confident, well-adjusted puppies that transition smoothly into their new homes. Every puppy is raised as part of our family, and we remain committed to supporting our puppy families long after they bring their companion home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
