I'm Debra M., the breeder behind Ursa Minor Kennel located in Lunenburg, MA. I have had dogs all my life and have been lucky enough to make a living by handling and training them. I also mentor juniors in conformation, training, and grooming. I am a preservationist breeder, and am dedicated to continuing my phenomenal bloodlines in an effort to provide families with loving, healthy, and happy puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
I was surrounded by dogs from a very young age. As a child, both of my parents were breeders; my father had English Setters and my mother had Boxers. All of my life, I have been very involved in the dog world, from following breeding and showing to grooming and training. Dogs are a huge part of my life, and I'm honored to continue the lines of these wonderful dogs as a breeder.What makes your program special?
My dogs are bred for incredible health and temperament above everything else. I am a preservation breeder, so I am very particular about each breeding that I do to ensure excellent puppies that will carry on the line. I put a lot of care and thought into each breeding, and each puppy gets lots of love and attention from everyone in my family.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
