Planned Great Dane litter
Due Aug. 2026
I'm Tamara J., the breeder behind Vanmar Great Danes of Colorado located in Centennial, CO. I selectively breed one or two litters per year. My dogs are AKC registered, Champion Bloodlines. My breeding dogs are health tested and OFA health certified. My dogs have earned their CHIC health certification. These tests include: OFA Hips - X-rays are taken and sent to OFA where a panel of board certified vets examine the X-rays to rule out presence of hip dysplasia. OFA Heart- full echocardiogram on each parent to rule out heart problems. OFA Elbows- X-rays of elbows to rule out evidence of dysplasia OFA Thyroid- to screen for thyroid disease OFA Cerf Eyes- eyes are examined by canine eye specialist DVM to rule out eye disease. Once all of these tests are completed and passed the dog earns its CHIC health certification number. All of our parents dogs have this number as well as grandparent dogs. So we have multi generational health testing. Puppies are raised in our home with a lot of love. We have puppy meet and greets at my home starting at 4 weeks of age to help families build a loving bond with their new puppy. Pups start receiving PARVO shots at 3 weeks of age to offer extra protection. So our pups go home with 3 vaccinations instead of the standard single vaccine. *Vaccinations *Pups are microchipped *Dew Claws are removed *Appropriate Wormings *Socialized *Potty training started.
