I'm Rosaura V., the breeder behind Velvet Fluffy Pups located in Plano, IL. I’ve had the joy of helping many families welcome their own Frenchies into their homes. It’s something I’m incredibly proud of, and I’m excited to continue sharing these amazing dogs with loving families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    In 2020 I fell in love with the French Bulldog breed. I had never seen them before! Their personality and non intimidating looked had me hooked. We welcomed our first male Frenchie then and I decide I wanted to breed them full time. At the same time have remained part of a community of breeders traveling and showcasing our French Bulldogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    Every breeding is carefully planned to ensure excellent temperament, strong health, and the best traits from both parents. We see one Veterinarian for all of puppy birth's, Mothers care and puppy's checkups. We strive for healthy puppies and parents giving the next generation a better life. Our program is built on love, experience, and a true commitment to every puppy we produce.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, white, black and tan, brindle and white, tricolors, blue, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I had some doubts at first, but after speaking with Rosaura on the phone and face timing to view the puppy, any doubt I had was gone. Drove 14 hrs round trip to pickup a wonderful puppy, can’t thank velvet fluffy pups enough. I’m extremely humbled to have a chance to own such a well breed pup. Puppy is extremely well built and has a very good temperament. Breeder was extremely helpful and answered any/ all questions I had. They also accommodated on a date/time that worked best for me ( customer first mindset). Puppy came with all vaccinations, paperwork, food, blanket, and toys. Would not hesitate to buy another pup from this breeder.
