Meet the breeder

I'm Janet N., the breeder behind Victoria Creek Australian Labradoodles located in Stanwood, WA. As members of the ALAA and WALA we are doing our part to develop the breed and to ensure that the traits that make this such a special and lovable dog are preserved and passed down to future generations.

Q. & A. with Janet

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got Matilda in 2014. One year later we decided that with all three children away at college we should get another Australian Labradoodle and start breeding them. In 2015 we bought one of Tilly's unaltered little sisters from Pine Lodge Labradoodles. In mid-2017, we bred Penny with Brennan, another Pine Lodge Labradoodle.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs live on the house with us. We have one litter at a time. We are breeding the dogs we want to have as pets. Standard-Sized, Multi-Generation Australian Labradoodles. In addition to the Australian Labradoodle temperament we are breeding for reds, caramels, apricots and creams. Our dogs are our pets and we don't breed more than we can care for.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Janet was very knowledgeable about this breed and was very responsive with any question we had. She provided many puppy updates which kept us excited and informed! When we took Maple home we had many nerves, questions, but of course excitement! The transition ended up being easier than we thought due to all the information and help Janet provided. We now can’t imagine life without Maple! She has such a sweet energy and we are excited to continue to get to know her.😊

We brought Sila and Chuck home a little over a year ago, and it’s honestly been the best decision we’ve ever made. Chuck is incredibly smart — he understands everything and even “talks back” in his own way. If you upset him, he’ll remember 😄. Sila is pure sunshine. She’s always happy, playful, and full of love. She completely fulfilled my dream of having a daughter. They’re both healthy, loving, and just perfect in every way. Every day we find ourselves loving them more. We’re so thankful to have found a breeder who clearly puts heart and soul into raising these pups. You can feel the care and thoughtfulness from the very beginning. Thank you again for giving us such amazing dogs. They’ve brought so much joy into our lives. — Emily
