Q. & A. with Victoria
Why did you start breeding?
With having over 14 yr of experience working as a shelter professional in animal welfare we take breeding very seriously. It is our goal to breed a small amount of Staffordshire Bull Terriers of superb temperament, health, and conformation. We house all of our dogs in our home and raise our puppies in our main living spaces. All of our dogs and puppies are raised holistically using western medicine only when absolutely needed along with other natural methods in the home. We also use some of the military puppy raising protocol to ensure our puppies develop into their full potential. We use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)along with other protocols we have found useful in producing an outgoing and well-rounded puppy.
All of our breeding animals have been fully health tested for breed specific health issues and have their CHIC title. They are tested for the following.
• Hip Dysplasia * Eye Examination/ C.A.R.E Certified
• L2HGA (L-2-Hydroyglutaric acidurea) * Hereditary Cataracts (Juvenile Cataracts)
• Elbow Dysplasia * Patellar Luxation
• Congenital Cardiac Database
What makes your program special?
VIP is a family dedicated to promoting, preserving, and protecting the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (SBT). We possess the passion, knowledge, and integrity the SBT breed deserves.
Here at VIP, we strive to promote the SBT through knowledge and education. We have over 15 years of experience working in animal welfare as a shelter professional with a specialized focus on bully breeds and working dogs, over 25 years of experience in training and behavior with 9 of those as a professional dog trainer, and over 30 years of experience in animal husbandry. Not only will you be purchasing a puppy from us that has been raised with great detail in enrichment and exposure, but you are going to receive a puppy that has been started on training.
