Getting a puppy from Melanie

Melanie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Melanie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies have tails docked and dew claws removed. AKC registration included if applicable, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, grooming desensitization, puppy pack, 30 days trupanion insurance. A $500 non-refundable reservation fee is required to secure your selected puppy. This fee goes toward the total purchase price.”

Melanie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Bringing Magnolia now Luna home has honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. You could truly tell how loved and cared for the puppies were before they ever went home. Luna came to us healthy, confident, playful, and already so well socialized.
