Q. & A. with Kayah
Why did you start breeding?
As a teen, my parents bred our family Jack Russell Terrier. I was amazed at the beautiful process it was. I always dreamed of doing it again with my own family with one of our dogs. When we got Cora, I knew she would be the perfect mama. We did lots at research and made sure she was in top health before starting the process. We only plan to breed her 2 times total and she will stay as our family dog.
What makes your program special?
Cora is our family dog, she is a member of our family. We aren’t breeding her a bunch of times and dumping her when she’s had tons of litters. Cora’s health is very important to us. We also have done genetic testing to make sure both she and the stud were heathy before breeding them. We don’t have a big operation so, we can give the dogs the best level of care possible.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, black, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
