Meet the breeder

I'm Vivianne H., the breeder behind Vixbull French Bulldogs located in Ponchatoula, LA. We have a small and select AKC French Bulldogs breeding program in Louisiana. Above anything else, our Frenchies are members of our family. Their beds are our couches, their rooms are our living room and bedroom, and we thoroughly enjoy their company!

Q. & A. with Vivianne

  • Why did you start breeding?

My history with French Bulldogs started in Brazil back in 2004. I fell in love with a brindle Frenchie girl, of big eyes and lovely temperament. Her name was Ninna. She was the center of attention of our home, and I saw myself planning a second Frenchie soon after her arrival. In 2006, Ninna gave us a litter of six little Frenchies (5 girls and 1 boy). The very special boy was Sayid, who got us started in the world of dog shows.
  • What makes your program special?

We always aim to improve the breed, by planning matings according to the breed standard proposed by the American Kennel Club (AKC), health testing our Frenchies, participating in Dog Shows and working so that our puppies are excellent companion dogs above it all. We have a small number of Frenchies because they are a part of our family and we want to give them as much attention as possible. For that reason, also, we plan our litters very carefully, so they are not very frequent, but highly special to us. We offer guarantees of our French Bulldogs' health. We health test our dogs prior to any matings and we always try to plan the best mating possible for our girls, not only taking looks, temperament and health into consideration, but also genetics.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
