I'm Elizabeth V., the breeder behind Vollbach Farm located in Grand Blanc, MI. We breed Golden Retrievers to represent their beauty, intelligence, health, and temperament. Using a curriculum, we raise the puppies to create a well-adjusted puppy. They are started on potty training, crate training, have had many exposures to sights and sounds, and have been socialized.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always wanted to breed Golden Retrievers. They are such a wonderful breed and make such loving companions. I have been mentored on ethical breeding, proper health testing, and curriculum puppy raising and that really created a passion for breeding.What makes your program special?
We follow a curriculum and go through all the steps to help these pups be ready and prepared for family life. We provide lifelong support to our buyers, go home kits, educational materials, and health puppies. The pups are vetted, microchipped, de-wormed, and vaccinated prior to going home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Elizabeth
Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Elizabeth partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Price
“Price includes clean bill of health from a veterinarian, microchip, de-worming, vaccines, breeder go home kit, and AKC paperwork. Deposit goes towards the purchase price. It holds the puppy and reserves your "pick" in order of deposit.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
