I’m a dedicated breeder of World-Class German Shepherds at Vom Archbold Haus in Yorkville, IL. We focus on breeding AKC West German Show Line German Shepherds that are family-friendly, healthy, well structured, emotionally balanced and intellectual German Shepherds.

Why did you start breeding?
Our children loved to play with him and have fun. When the stranger was at the door, our shepherd would be the first to tell us about it. It's how we decided to breed only West German Show Line German Shepherds. We grow West German because they are the most trainable, extremely intelligent, family-oriented, balanced, and have a calm temperament and is a great fit for families with children.
What makes your program special?
In our breeding program, our main focus is on the following: Health, Family Friendly, Intellectual Development, and Beauty. In our breeding program, we only use dogs with excellent health history, outstanding pedigrees, well well-structured, beautiful shepherds. We believe our breeding program is special because we give importance to the intellectual development of our shepherds.

Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Aelita

Aelita has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Aelita partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they're old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities - typically around 5-6 weeks.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a health warranty, micro chipping, AKC registration, basic obedience training, temperament testing, vaccinations, deworming, and socialization. We also provide prompt updates with multiple photos and short videos of your chosen puppy. Non Refundable Deposit ensures you a spot on our waiting list for a puppy of your choice.”

Contract & health guarantee

Aelita may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
