I'm Jeremiah D., the breeder behind Vom Dul Haus German Shepherds located in Butternut, WI. Our kennels are a family-run obsession involving three generations passing on knowledge, doing the footwork, with the youngest providing the pure energy needed to keep up with a litter of pups!
We have been successfully breeding dogs for nearly forty years.
Q. & A. with Jeremiah
Why did you start breeding?
Family tradition. My mother bred national champion Angora rabbits from the time she was a teenager. When I was growing up she started the kennel breeding Cocker Spaniels with bird hunting lines. When I was in my teens she started Schutzhund and breeding German Shepherds. It was always a part of my life growing up and is now a part of my children's lives.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are family, in the house with children and other animals. They are not kennel animals, they spend every day of their life in a loving environment. They are up with us in the morning and sleeping with their humans at night. After being exposed to GSDs, we made it our mission to procure and preserve the best working line GSDs. We produce the GSD as it was originally intended.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
