I'm Ronnette D., the breeder behind Von Baron Schnauzers located in Dayton, TX. I specialize in raising exceptional Miniature Schnauzers in Texas, proudly serving families in Houston and surrounding areas. My puppies are AKC registered, DNA health tested, and thoughtfully raised in our home with intentional socialization from the very beginning. From their earliest days, I focus on building confident, well-balanced companions through daily handling, structured routines, and real-life exposure to a family environment. I place a strong emphasis on temperament, structure, and long-term health. Every dog in my program is carefully selected and screened, including testing for PRA and Myotonia Congenita, to ensure I am producing puppies that are not only beautiful, but sound and reliable. At Von Baron Schnauzers, I am deeply committed to responsible breeding practices and doing things the right way. I do not cut corners, and I never breed on a volume mindset—my puppies are raised with purpose, intention, and a level of care that reflects the standards I believe every family deserves.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I am a photographer that stumbled into being a Master Kennel Manager. My expansive knowledge of the breed was developed while working as a master kennel manager for one of the largest schnauzer breeders in the US. My love for Miniature Schnauzers inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. It has been an absolute joy of a journey and I pride myself on helping all of my clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle. I have severe allergies and found the schnauzer being hypoallergenic, to be a perfect breed to be around since they don't shed. They are very loyal and also make fantastic therapy dogs. We have a couple of our dogs that are now working therapy dogs.

    Our puppies include wheaten, white, parti, liver, salt and pepper, black and silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Ronnette

Ronnette partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

    I did a fairly extensive search once I settled on the miniature schnauzer breed. Ronnette was clearly knowledgable, experienced and committed to these dogs.
