Meet the breeder

I'm Jessin B., the breeder behind Von Bourbon Shepherds located in Micanopy, FL. Our German Shepherd puppies are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets. We compete and win at the German SV world championships for the most loyal wonderful dogs.

Q. & A. with Jessin

  • Why did you start breeding?

One great dog led to another.
  • What makes your program special?

It is our passion not our profession. We spare no expense in the care and selection of the best German Shepherds. Our females compete in the USA and in Germany and fly back-and-forth for competitions. We fly them home, imported in whelp to the German world champions every year. The quality shows in our excellent hip and elbow ratings, breed surveys temperament tests and working titles.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
