Von’s Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Angela V.

Breeder of Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Meet the breeder

I'm Angela V., the breeder behind Von’s Staffordshire Bull Terriers located in Danville, IA. Since 2001, we have had several dogs in the top 10 in the United States, and we are very proud of each and every one of them. Today our focus is on educating people about the breed and producing dogs that are healthy, of quality stock, and with the best personalities possible. Each of our dogs lives in our home and are members of the family. This is a breed that needs to be with their family and not stuck outside in the yard or a pen. They are a constant companion and will be at your side at all times. If you are looking for a loyal companion, this is the breed for you.

Q. & A. with Angela

  • Why did you start breeding?

My mother was a breeder and trainer. I grew up with a love and understanding of dogs. I helped deliver my first litter at the age of three and have never looked back as an adult. I have had several breeds over my lifetime and believe that has given me a stronger understanding of the importance of structure, form, and function of a dog.
  • What makes your program special?

First, I give credit to my breed, as these dogs make it difficult to do wrong. Secondly, I spend incredible amounts of time training, socializing, educating, and preparing each puppy for complete success from the moment they are born. They enter their new lives with confidence and the ability to work with and relate to their new family. Lastly, each new home becomes a part of my family and I offer 24/7 breeder support.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
