I'm Christian V., the breeder behind VR Wanderlust Beagles located in Palm City, FL. We are Christian and Melanie Van Riper and we created the VR Wanderlust Beagles Kennel with the hope of carrying on the legacy of our first show quality beagle, Rosie, who is a very accomplished show dog, the number one all breed female beagle in 2023 and a Best in Show Winner.

She is also a Best in Show Winner, and she has multiple Hound Group wins. She is now retired from the dog show world and spends most of her time as a beloved member of our family.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
