I'm Clint L., the breeder behind Wartooth Cowdogs located in Lufkin, TX. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
I've been around animals my whole life and always loved dogs. I moved back to Texas and started my own Kennel nearly 5 years ago.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Clint
Clint has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. The deposit is non refundable, but transferable between pups in the litter as long as they are available. Includes full AKC rights.”
Contract & health guarantee
Clint may provide a written contract or
health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your
puppy purchase. If Clint offers a contract
or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them.

von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
