I'm Shelby B., the breeder behind We Love Standard Poodles located in Highland Village, TX. Our main focus is to breed healthy long living dogs with an emphasis on good temperament to make in our opinion the best family dog and companion available. The dogs in our breeding program are our pets and we love them and the pups dearly.

She loves to run, play and maybe a little squirrel hunting lol. She is great mother, pet and chic certified. Fully registered AKC, great pedigree, clear DNA health screening through Embark and just a sweet lovable k9.

Nash is a male Poodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Shelby decided to make him part of their program. Shelby has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
