I'm Kelsie G., the breeder behind Wednesday & Co located in Coal City, IN. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started selecting my breeding pairs after becoming so upset at the poor quality of dogs/puppies that I was seeing in the clinic. These puppies being purchased for astronomical prices at the local pet stores having zero socialization and numerous health concerns fuels my fire to do better every single day!

  • What makes your program special?

    I study my dogs genetic lines, DNA profiles and social dispositions prior to making my mating selections. My puppy’s must pass all my steps of socialization prior to being allowed to leave! This means your new baby is going to have the skills to adapt to your home and family faster and easier.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and white, black and tan, red, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kelsie

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    I had a fantastic experience getting my Cavapoo, TJ, from Kelsie at Wednesday & Co. She was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive throughout the entire process. Kelsie sent weekly updates and adorable pictures, which made the wait so much more exciting and reassuring. She clearly puts a lot of care and attention into her puppies. TJ came with a full list of vaccinations, a bag of the food he was used to eating, and all the necessary health checks already started. I’ve purchased several dogs out of state before, and none of them came with this much information or preparation. It made the transition so much easier. One of the best parts was how well-socialized TJ was with kids. From the moment he arrived, he jumped right in and started playing with my kids like he had known them forever—and he hasn't stopped since!     I truly cannot speak highly enough of Kelsie and Wednesday Cavapoos. I was admittedly nervous about looking for a pup online, but after my first call with Kelsie, all those nerves went away. She is so unbelievably kind and responsive, and she happily answered all my questions and provided all the resources I needed. She also sent tons of updates and pictures of Caddie (previously Georgia) which made the 7 weeks of waiting much easier! We feel like we hit the jackpot getting one of her pups.     Kelsie was absolutely amazing! She was very responsive, extremely nice and available for any questions I had leading up to picking up Hickory & afterwards. It was also a very easy process on Good Dog. I felt very comfortable using Good Dog. Picking up Hickory was a breeze and Kelsie made sure to send me home with everything I would need. I absolutely love Hickory & I’m pretty sure he feels the same way about me! I’m so thankful to Kelsie for her help bringing Hickory & me together.
