Meet the breeder

I'm Katrina B., the breeder behind Wee Little Bassets located in Lone Jack, MO. Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

Q. & A. with Katrina

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our story began in 2021 on Father’s day as we welcomed our first Basset Hound to the family. Our love for the breed blossomed and have since welcomed four more to our family! We chose them because they are great with our kids and have such a slow pace life. Their long floppy ears and droopy eyes have won us over.
  • What makes your program special?

We pride ourselves to ensure our puppies leave healthy and happy. We give our families a head start with our pups by starting indoor potty training with them at 3 weeks and then transition to outdoor at 6 weeks, once they’ve received their first parvo.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
