I'm Karla W., the breeder behind Weiss's Puppies located in Forest City, IA. My husband and I both grew up on farms. We have raised everything from cattle, hogs, sheep, chickens, kittens, and dogs. We live in town now but we miss the farm life. Raising dogs is the perfect way for us to fill that void. Our dogs are a part of our family and we raise them with love and care and want the best for them. We also want to raise the best dog for you and your family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always been passionate about the well-being of animals. I wanted to put my passion to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention I give to every detail of the journey. I provide my puppies with a safe, clean, and enriching environment where they can grow and learn about the world until they are ready to venture out and experience life with their forever families!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Morkie puppies include black & tan tri-color and black and tan. Havanese puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karla

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
