I'm Karla W., the breeder behind Weiss's Puppies located in Thompson, IA. My husband and I both grew up on farms. We have raised everything from cattle, hogs, sheep, chickens, kittens, and dogs. We live in town now but we miss the farm life. Raising dogs is the perfect way for us to fill that void. Our dogs are a part of our family and we raise them with love and care and want the best for them. We also want to raise the best dog for you and your family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always been passionate about the well-being of animals. I wanted to put my passion to good use! I started several years ago with larger breeds but have moved into smaller dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention I give to every detail of the journey. I provide my puppies with a safe, clean, and enriching environment where they can grow and learn about the world until they are ready to venture out and experience life with their forever families! I love to keep in touch with my families and love to see pictures of the pups. I am available to answer questions about your new family member.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Havanese puppies are black and white. Morkie puppies include black & tan tri-color and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
