I'm Brandie J., the breeder behind Welcome Acres Labradoodles located in La Plata, MD. It is our goal to produce adorable, affectionate Australian Labradoodle puppies that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. Our dogs have enriched our lives in ways we never imagined, and we are so happy to be able to share the wonderful qualities of the breed with others. Owning an Australian Labradoodle is a beautiful experience, and it would be our honor to connect you with the perfect new addition to your family.

  • What makes your program special?

    Australian Labradoodles have proven to be the greatest companions to our family. We started breeding to contribute to breed betterment and to share smart and loveable puppies with other families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and chalk, caramel ice, caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, gold, apricot, cream, chalk, chocolate, cafe, lavendar, parchment, black, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Brandie

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All of our breeding dogs are genetically health tested. We are members of the Australian Labradoodle Association of America and the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association. All puppies come with age appropriate shots, Deworming, 2 year health guarantee, microchip, pedigree, health certificate from our veterinarian and a go home bag with lots of goodies.”

Contract & health guarantee

Brandie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
