I'm Austin A., the breeder behind Wellington Poodles located in Snowflake, AZ. At Wellington Poodles, we are dedicated to raising healthy, happy, and well-loved Standard Poodle puppies who are prepared to become cherished members of their future families. Our puppies are raised in our home and surrounded by love from the very beginning. They are handled, played with, and cared for by our own children, helping them become accustomed to the sights, sounds, activity, and affection that come with everyday family life. Health is one of our highest priorities. Our breeding dogs are DNA health tested, and we put every effort into giving each puppy a healthy start. Our puppies receive routine deworming and age-appropriate vaccinations and are kept current on their care before leaving for their new homes. Each puppy is also microchipped, has a docked tail, and has had their dewclaws removed. We take pride in the time, attention, and love that goes into every puppy we raise. From their earliest days with our family until the day they leave for yours, our goal is to provide them with the best possible foundation for a long, healthy, and happy life. At Wellington Poodles, we aren’t simply raising puppies—we are raising future family members.

Why did you start breeding?
Breeding has been part of my life since childhood. I learned by helping with our family’s AKC Samoyeds and German Shepherds, gaining hands-on experience with puppies, adult dogs, and the responsibilities involved in producing healthy, well-cared-for litters. That foundation eventually led me to AKC Standard Poodles.What makes your program special?

Getting a puppy from Austin
Austin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Austin partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
Price
“our males are $1600 and our female is $1800. A deposit is required to reserve the puppy of your choice and will hold that puppy specifically for you. The remaining balance is due at the time of pickup. Puppies must be picked up within 30 days of the deposit date. If the puppy has not been picked up within that 30-day period and other arrangements have not been made, the hold will expire and the puppy may be made available for purchase by another family.”
