I'm Stephanie K., the breeder behind Wendy’s Wings located in Coatesville, IN. Wendy’s Wings is built on 16+ years of dedication to the Papillon breed named after my first papillon. Our dogs are fully health-tested, intentionally paired, and lovingly raised in our home. We strive to produce Papillons who are not only sound in structure, but rich in spirit, joy, and heart.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Having a pack of 6 Papillons was pure joy, & it inspired me to share this incredible breed with other families.Their intelligence, spirit, & devotion deserve to be experienced by more than just me. After my first Papillon passed at 16, I established Wendy’s Wings in her honor. While health will always be our foundation, my mission is every family should have the chance to know their love.

  • What makes your program special?

    I raise Papillons the way I wish every breeder did. With intention. With love. With transparency. With a genuine desire to share the joy that changed my life. Breeders are always learning but my passion stemmed from love and experience-now I am exploring and sharing my experiences with others.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red white and sable and white black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Stephanie

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Factor VII Deficiency, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
