I'm Johnathan W., the breeder behind Were The Mack'Doodles located in Houston, TX. Breeding Goldendoodles for 3 years, I partner with Make-A-Wish to give back while doing what I love—raising healthy dogs and finding them the right homes. I also enjoy creating my own marketing and branding, blending passion, purpose, and community into every puppy placement.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    “I grew up surrounded by dogs, and their unconditional love shaped who I am. Breeding became a way to honor that bond—and to honor Jaxson, my best friend’s son, whose Make‑A‑Wish trip he never got to take. Partnering with Make‑A‑Wish lets me give back in his name and turn my work with dogs into something meaningful for other families.”

    “I proudly donate a puppy to Make‑A‑Wish and stay committed to raising healthy, well‑trained pups in a loving, clean environment. I’m always learning and educating others, and in 2026 our program takes a creative, futuristic turn. Follow along as we launch a new twist in our journey.”

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, red, black, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Johnathan

Johnathan has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Johnathan partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Pricing reflects 8 weeks of nonstop care—cleaning, calls, sleepless nights, plus vaccines, deworming, socialization, puppy packs, and parent records—all done by me alone. Deposit will be nonrefundable. You may use your deposit for the next litter."

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Johnathan was wonderful! We love our little puppy, Sunshine! She came with her own little bag with toys and food and he even included a sun toy. He originally had us planned to get her December 13th as we live in Dallas, but was able to make accommodations to give us our angel on December 4th! We loved watching the lives and seeing our puppy interact with her siblings and watch her grooming routine. We loved the interaction he had with us the whole time and watching him take care of the babies made me feel so confident in buying from him.
