These guys are very people-motivated and curious in the most positive way. This litter seems to be a step-ahead of those that came before them. They’ve been hitting mile-markers in development well before we would typically expect them too. From having great rebound time from new experiences to being confident with introductions to new environments they’ve been little rockstars! Only one week to go before puppy picking begins!

The puppies have officially started on their puppy-mush and are starting to become much more interactive either each other, us, and their environment. Their little personalities are starting to really develop this week. Everyone is very socially motivated by human interactions right now, you can’t walk by the puppy pen without having them follow you and demand attention as you go (and then you obviously have to stop and pick each one up and tell them what a good puppy they are, makes getting chores done a little more tricky!), and this week we are working on more household sound exposure and introducing new objects and toys into their puppy pen to build confidence and promote positive curiosity.

6 weeks old today! 🥳 Officially on hard food and had their first vaccine and veterinary exam 👩⚕️ . Next week is microchips and third round of dewormer! We got many compliments about their sweet dispositions and how well they tolerated being handled during their exam 💕 . All the extensive socialization and environmental exposure activities have really started to pay off! ♥️ Everyone has a lovely recall to “puppy, puppy, puppy!” And we are introducing clicker work next week. Our three girls are still looking for their forever homes! 🐶 🐾

Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Birdie
Birdie has a very consistent and affectionate disposition. She's extremely biddable and adores everyone she meets. Companionship and being near her humans are always her top priority, unless she has puppies around and then she becomes the most dedicated mother you could ever hope to meet (while still seeking out attention and affection from her people!). This wonder dog is confident in new places and meeting new friends (be that the four or two legged kind) while also being just as content to stay home and snuggle up to her family. Birdie has an innate ability to build relationships with everyone she meets and is never one to turn down a belly rub. She is the epitome of a well-rounded family pet, and it's one of the many reasons why we cherish her and chose to further her line.

Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Benson
Benson is our adventure dog. He's an excellent example of the athleticism this breed was once known for. There are fewer dogs more biddable and confident than this guy. He has phenomenal recall, great aptitude for learning commands and retaining what he's learned, and a drive to go-go-go-go! Most people imagine couch potatoes when they think of Pembroke Welsh Corgi's but Benson is a striking example of what this traditional herding breed is capable of. That's not to say that he doesn't enjoy a slower paced day at home every now and then, he's a healthy balance of both worlds. Whether it's hiking the PNW or curling up at your feet for an evening in, Benson is up for anything! We aspire to have this drive for adventure and confidence pass down his lines.

I appreciate Keri's effort in raising the puppies and ease of the process to get my wonderful corgi puppy, Abigail. Keri answered questions and her knowledge of vet medicine was helpful. My puppy is socially confident and has slept all night even on the very first night. I recommend Keri as a breeder.

Keri was so responsive and knowledgeable about the breed. She made the pick up process so seamless for us by having all of Lucy’s documentation ready and even gave us a take home bag full of goodies! I definitely recommend West Coast Corgi!

We had a great experience working with Keri! From the beginning, she was very responsive, always quick to answer our questions and provide any information we needed. Keri has a deep knowledgeable about the breed, and was more than willing to offer details about their care, temperament, and health. We were able to visit the litter and meet all the puppies before making our decision about which one we wanted. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Keri is passionate about the breed and genuinely cares for the dogs she raises. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and responsive breeder who makes the entire process a breeze, I highly recommend her!
