Why did you start breeding?
I have a good friend who breeds Portuguese Water Dogs, and she has been mentoring me to understand the proper way to go about breeding dogs and raising puppies.What makes your program special?
The socialization of my puppies and my adult dogs to all age brackets and people with a variety of medical and emotional conditions. My dogs also get exposed to swimming via a pool and a pond and to a variety of Portuguese Water Dogs who come and train on my property for water work.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Roberta
Roberta has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Roberta partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 9 weeks old.
"We take great care in interviewing prospective buyers and seeing how they interact with the puppies during visits and then match the buyer's needs with the puppies after temperament testing is done around 7 weeks, but puppies are not assigned until the 9th week."
Price
"The price includes AKC Reunite microchip, first vaccinations, puppy socialization, AKC pedigree, and a puppy pack with food samples, toys, a blanket that smells like the dam, leash and first collar, poop bags, and some training information. Deposits are taken ONLY after you are approved as a home; they are non-refundable except in the case where someone has a change in life conditions and can no longer adequately care for a puppy and adult dog."

Hip Dysplasia
