I'm Yolanda H., the breeder behind Westfields Labradoodles located in Hagerstown, MD. We are dedicated to providing our families with healthy, happy Australian Labradoodles. Our dogs are bred in a warm environment full of nurture, support, and training as well as socialization.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We were introduced to Labradoodles as the best family pets by my sister, Zoe Shaw, who is the owner of Multigen Labradoodles in California. We are members of the Australian Labradoodle Association of America and abide by all ALAA standards.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of our puppies are raised in our home or their guardian homes as family dogs. (No kennels here!) Our dogs come from a long line of therapy dogs and we focus on breeding healthy puppies. All of our adult dogs are health tested. Labradoodles have amazing temperaments who make great therapy dogs or family companions.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include caramel, gold, apricot, cream, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Yolanda

Yolanda has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Yolanda partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

"We let our families choose their puppy and they do so at 6 weeks old, after the puppies have been temperament tested."

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Your deposit should be made only after you have been interviewed and approved. Buyers pick their puppy once the puppy has reached 6 weeks old and they are picked in the order that the deposit is received. (this is also when the remaining balance is due). The deposit is $300.00 and is non refundable. It should be made only after you have been approved. The remaining balance is due at 6 weeks of age when you pick your puppy."

Yolanda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Yolanda was truly wonderful to work with. She was very helpful and patient answering all the questions we had as first time puppy owners. Communication was excellent throughout the process. We had daily updates and videos of the puppies until they were 8 weeks old. It was clear Yolanda provided a caring home for the pups. She also crate trained the puppies which made our boy Indy’s transition home much easier. Yolanda followed up with us to check in on how he was doing and answer additional questions we had as well. It is clear how much she cares about her puppies even after they have gone home. We cannot thank Yolanda enough.

    Before I went to pick up the dog, Yolanda took very good care of the dog and regularly sent me videos of the dog's life, which allowed me to observe the dog's growth process very well. And Yolanda taught the dog a lot of commands, like sit. It was a very pleasant surprise for me! She also took the dogs for their rabies shots and it was fantastic. I highly recommend this kennel.

    My adventure with Westfields Labradoodles was perfect. I adopted a young female adorable dog. From first contact to arrival was a bit more than 2 weeks. Yolanda took care of all the details, providing medical records and arranging transportation from Maryland to Arizona! The dog arrived safely and was comfortable with me after only a few hours. She is a sweetheart and I could not be more pleased with my new friend.
