Meet the breeder

I'm Cyndi R., the breeder behind Whatabulldog located in Porter, TX. Our biggest goal is to provide you with some of the best puppies around. Not only do we health test all of our adults, but our puppies go through extensive socialization to ensure they are going to be well-rounded, social, confident, and healthy-minded dogs when they grow up.

Q. & A. with Cyndi

  • Why did you start breeding?

I just fell in love with the breed. They are absolutely the best breed you can have but we have to breed to improve the breed as well.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small breeding program and are able to devote ample time and energy to each of our litters. We shower our puppies with love and affection daily. We are very selective about our breeding dogs. All of our dogs are fully healthy and genetically tested. The health and temperament of our puppies are our number one priority.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Cyndi was the best! We found a dog named QTip and he was taken before we could reserve him. Cyndi was so gracious to have us come to her home and pick puppy that hadn't been featured on the website. She showed us all the puppies. It was so hard to choose between the three. We decided to choose one that looked like QTip. We named him Peanut because he's the color of a peanut and is small. He has beautiful expressive green eyes. He's only three months old and is very intelligent. He can sit for treats, use the doggie door and is almost house trained. He is a doll and has been worth every penny in joy for us. We had searched websites to find a reputable breeder because we didn’t want to support someone who was running a puppy mill. Gooddog.com review the breeders and only allow the ones who follow rules to be on their website. Cyndi provided shot record and a healthy puppy. I would highly recommend looking and choosing one of her precious puppies. Attached are pictures of our precious Peanut. Debbie

I can not say enough EXCELLENT things about Cyndi/ Whatbulldog! We just brought one of her puppy boys home a few days ago, and he’s perfect. She made the whole process easy & lovely. As someone who’s a big advocate for adoption but also understands the joy of raising a dog from babyhood, I really appreciated and can say with absolute confidence that Cyndi is an ethically kind, caring, & honest breeder. It’s evident that she cares deeply about all of her fur babies & the families to whom they go home with. From start to finish, she was wonderful! 10/10 highly recommend! We love our Archie so much and it’s evident that she did all the things beforehand to prepare him for a smooth healthy transition- she honestly probably went above & beyond on that, but that’s another reason why I’m here singing her praises. Thank you Cyndi/ Whatabulldog! You’re the BEST!

I cannot recommend Cyndi enough as a French Bulldog breeder! From start to finish, her professionalism, warmth, and dedication to ethical breeding practices truly set her apart. Cyndi’s love and respect for her dogs are evident in every interaction. She prioritizes the health, temperament, and well-being of her puppies above all else, ensuring they come from happy, healthy parents raised in a nurturing environment. What impressed me most was her exceptional customer service. Cyndi was always patient, transparent, and knowledgeable, answering all my questions with genuine care and honesty. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free, providing detailed updates and guidance even after I brought my puppy home. The support didn’t stop once we received our puppy — Cyndi has been incredible with follow-ups, offering advice and checking in to make sure our new family member is thriving. Her dedication to her puppies and their families is truly unmatched. If you’re looking for a French Bulldog breeder who values integrity, ethics, and outstanding care—not just for her dogs but for her customers—Cyndi is the one to trust. Her commitment to excellence shines through in every aspect of her work, and I’m so grateful to have found her. Moving forward my family will only purchase dogs from Cyndi.

Cyndi was amazing in this whole process and gave us the sweetest baby boy. She was very responsive and has great quality and healthy pups. Louie has been such a light in our lives, and we are so grateful to have gotten him from a loving home.
