Meet the breeder

I'm Todd & Rachel W., the breeder behind Wheeler's Staffys located in Austin, TX. We love this breed! Our puppies are bred, raised and nurtured in-home to produce happy, healthy, amazing family companions! Our dogs have brought so much happiness to us- we want to produce healthy SBTs that can bring other people joy too. We aim to find loving families for all our pups!

Q. & A. with Todd & Rachel

  • Why did you start breeding?

Todd wanted a staffie for 20+ years after having several amazing Pit Bull Terriers. He loved the Pit Bull breed but wanted a more compact version. We first got Kiko and I fell in love with the breed too. Then we added Nani and the two of them together are such a blast- never a dull moment! Staffies are amazing pets and can be difficult to find. We want to help others enjoy staffie life too!
  • What makes your program special?

We are in-home breeders of only staffies who are healthy and happy and get tons of love, affection, quality food and play time!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
