I'm Aaron K., the breeder behind Whiskey Meadows Miniature Schnauzers located in Jefferson, OR. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of a Miniature Schnauzer with other individuals and families!

Why did you start breeding?
There is nothing like the joy of new life, combined with the joy of being able to introduce people to the Mini Schnauzer breed and there new family members. It was a natural fit for us to share our love for the breed with others.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is small in scope as we raise pups right in our living room 3-4 litters per year. We are not a kennel & will never have dogs living in kennels, even our retired momma’s continue to live in our home as they are members of our family. We take every step possible from finding the right parents, completing all testing and making sure the pups we provide are among the very best.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Aaron
Aaron has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices vary depending on litter and if pups are to AKC registered, or if full breeding rights are desired please contact me and we can discuss your program and expectations. We ask for a $250 deposit for all pups. Deposit is refundable for any reason up until pup is 7 weeks of age, after that point it is only transferable to another puppy or future litter within 2 years.”

Aaron may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We had such a terrific experience with Aaron and his family in adopting our puppy. Their communication was great, and we felt really supported in being first time puppy buyers. Our dog Hank is now one year old, and absolutely couldn’t have a better personality. Seeing what a great family atmosphere the puppies are raised in really gave us confidence as people with a three year old and a baby on the way. Aaron helped us choose a puppy based on what we were looking for, and he is the perfect dog for our busy family with two little kids! He is smart, gentle, and loving and a real favorite at playgrounds. Our dog trainer is now referring other clients to Whiskey Meadows because Hank is such a terrific dog, and we dream of maybe having another puppy from his parents again some day!

Just wanted to share what a wonderful experience I had with Aaron in getting my new puppy Mia. She’s the most beautiful, adorable, precious and smartest puppy I’ve ever had! I can tell she was loved before I got her and also partially potty trained!! Aaron and his wife even drove her miles to deliver her to me 😊. They really take great care of the puppies and Aaron was available to answer all of my questions and concerns. You will LOVE ❤️ these lil’ Schnauzers!!
