I'm Dave B., the breeder behind Whispering Cedars Springer Spaniels NJ located in Egg Harbor, NJ. We are proud of the support we give our buyers and of our commitment to continue to research and enhance the breed standard. Our goal is to produce healthy dogs with amazing temperaments while leaving a legacy of greatness in the breed. We are dedicated advocates for proper breeding techniques.

Getting a puppy from Dave
Dave has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes puppy guarantee, up-to-date shots and worming. Puppies are offered with limited registration for $1200. Will consider full registration when requested.”
Contract & health guarantee
Dave may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4), DNA Profile
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
