I'm Renee &., the breeder behind Whispering Pines Precious Puppies located in Webster City, IA. Two onsite parents, extensively tested & bred at the Iowa State University Veterinary Breeding Program. Family farm raised, loving, well behaved, quiet, English Cream to darker golden dense, plush furred, potty trained puppies w/basic commands who are worked with and loved every day as family!

Why did you start breeding?
When our athletic son was seriously injured, our fantastic female, Summer, joined our family as a compassionate companion who provided care, encouragement and joy to all & helped him heal. Sir Henry XVIII, our docile, loving, gentle giant w/an outstanding pedigree & beautiful, long, white coat soon became part of our family. We've truly enjoyed sharing the joy their healthy, calm, loving, playful, focused puppies have brought to many & love the pics/videos we've continued to receive nationwide from owners.What makes your program special?
ISU Vet Med Breeding Management Program utilized to extensively test and breed our onsite parents. Vet letters state puppies are healthy, well behaved, socialized, vaccinated, dewormed and recommend our breeding program. We produce sought after attributes; calm, easily trainable yet playful temperament, beautiful, plush coats with less shedding. Potty and leash trained. Gooddog preferred breeders.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Summer
Summer is the most loving, caring dog and mother and truly part of our family. She dotes over her puppies and even mothers the kittens and cats! She stays by our side, loves car rides, exploring new places, and has a special spot right under the table during every family meal. Summer loves wandering around the farm, can't wait to get in the truck to go for a long ride, loves walks, runs, and hikes, going to the lake, or joining in on group gatherings, vacations, and people love interacting with her wherever we go. She will leisurely lay around all day, but when you are ready to interact and play, so is she. She doesn't know a stranger and is gentle and loving with babies, kids, adults, and animals alike. Summer is very patient, kind, and caring, and just has a knack for knowing when someone needs compassion, a friend, is hurt, or needs a nudge of motivation. She will lay independently, but loves being by your side throughout each day whether you're cooking, working on the farm, caring for horses or other animals, or just relaxing. She has beautiful, thick, plush, medium to darker golden coat with a reddish tint and the softest, most loving eyes. She is very social and outgoing and can't wait to make a new canine, feline, equine or human friend.

About Henry
Henry is a lovable, caring, well behaved, gentle giant. He is a favorite of Iowa State University's veterinarians due to his calm, quiet, gentle, lovable demeaner and how easy he is to handle and interact with even during testing, vaccinations, and breeding. Henry has an outstanding AKC English Cream Golden Retriever pedigree and could be shown, but we just consider him part of the family. He listens well and learns quickly, going with us wherever we go around the farm, for long distance or short drives, for a walk or run, to play in the water or on the beach, you name it! Henry adores fetching his ball, exploring, splashing in his pool, and interacting with us, but also loves just relaxing on the cool floor or on his thick plush dog bed, laying by your side, in your lap, or on the bed while we work or relax. Henry is one that wants to please and will do just about anything you ask him to! Henry adores belly rubs, having his chest rubbed, and gentle rubs on his ears or cheeks. He smiles and snores admiringly when you do so! Henry is one of a kind!

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Renee and Sarah (Whispering Pines Precious Puppies) were exceptional to communicate with throughout the process to add our golden retriever puppy, Eden, to our family. They were quickly responsive to our questions and were very kind to provide pictures and videos of Eden and personal updates as she grew. They walked us through all of the medical tasks they would take care of for Eden before we picked her up. They also explained Eden's parents, Summer and Henry's, personalities, backgrounds, and history of their health. When we arrived to meet Renee and Sarah and receive Eden to take her home, we found the puppies and the puppies' parents to be healthy and well-loved. Both Renee and Sarah helped toilet train the puppies before we picked up Eden - which was extremely helpful for us. They explained the next steps we needed to take for Eden. We were even given samples of food and treats for Eden. We enjoyed Renee and Sarah so much, that we spent the rest of the day with them and the other puppies.
