I'm Charo H., the breeder behind White Oak Doodles located in Johnson City, TN. Small, family-run program near Johnson City in East Tennessee. Every pup gets ENS, scent work, daily handling and early potty training, plus personality testing for the perfect family match. Visits welcome, no deposit needed.   • Why did you start breeding?

    My love for dogs and the outdoors led me to breeding. I wanted to raise healthy, well-rounded Bernedoodles and Goldendoodles with wonderful temperaments, the kind of dog that becomes the heart of a family. Seeing our puppies bring so much joy to their new homes, and hearing from families years later, is the best part of what I do.

  • What makes your program special?

    Every puppy is raised in our home, in the middle of daily family life, with Early Neurological Stimulation, scent introduction, daily handling and early potty training. Each pup is personality tested so we can match them with the right family, and every puppy comes with a lifetime genetic health guarantee. Our door is always open: come visit and meet the puppies, no deposit needed.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Bernedoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies are cream. Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Charo

Charo has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Charo partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit that secures a spot on the general waitlist. The remaining $2,300 - $2,500 is due at pickup, before taxes & fees.

Charo may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Full Embark Panel, PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
