Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda C., the breeder behind White Oak Goldens located in Siloam Springs, AR. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve always loved being a part of puppy whelping, and raising. I even had a couple of litters when I was a child. But I never learned more than the “how-to” until I was mentored by Shayla Toepfer with Stage Gulch Goldens, a therapy dog and service dog cream golden retriever breeder who happens to be my sister in law! After working for her and with her on a couple of litters I gained a wealth of knowledge, experience, and confidence. I decided to begin my own breeding program after +2 years working with her, and I’m thrilled to be able to offer puppies I’m so proud of!
  • What makes your program special?

Our small program allows us to be even more attentive to our dogs. We breed with the goal of producing one or more therapy dog or service dog candidates each litter, and the highest quality pets to be found! Every day with our puppies counts and we work hard to make the most of this impactful time. Using the puppy culture protocols, ENS, ESI, and Volhard Puppy Aptitude Testing (PAT) to pair each puppy with the family that best fits their temperament.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing an English Cream Golden Retriever from Amanda, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I reached out, Amanda was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring about ensuring that I was matched with the right puppy for my family. The quality of the dogs they breed is exceptional. My new Golden is not only stunning, with a beautiful cream-colored coat, but also possesses the gentle, loving temperament that the breed is known for. You can tell thatAmanda takes great care in raising their puppies in a loving and healthy environment, as my puppy came home well-socialized, confident, and happy. Throughout the process, Amanda provided regular updates, shared helpful tips on training and nutrition, and was always available to answer any questions. It's clear that she is deeply committed to the health and well-being of their dogs and want to ensure that each puppy is placed in the perfect home. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for an English Cream Golden Retriever. Her dedication to quality, care, and customer service is unparalleled, and I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful breeder.

Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
