I'm Dennis C., the breeder behind Whitewolf Kennels located in Blacksburg, SC. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience! All puppies are FCI registered through FCPR. By default, puppies are placed as companions only, with no breeding rights, and registration papers are provided after proof of spay/neuter. Breeding rights may be available to approved homes for an additional fee. If you’re interested in full registration and breeding rights, please inquire during the application process.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always admired the loyalty, intelligence, and beauty of shepherds. After raising German Shepherds, I fell in love with the White Swiss Shepherd for their gentle nature, striking appearance, and devotion to family. Breeding grew naturally from wanting to share these wonderful dogs with others.

  • What makes your program special?

    Whitewolf Kennels is intentionally small, allowing every puppy to receive individual attention from birth. I focus on health, sound temperament, and early socialization, raising each puppy in my home as part of the family. My goal is to produce confident, well-adjusted companions and to provide lifelong support to every puppy family.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Dennis

Dennis has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Dennis partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“Puppy selections begin around 6 weeks of age once personalities and temperaments become more apparent. Picks are made in order of deposit. We’re happy to help guide families toward puppies that best match their preferences and lifestyle.”

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
