I'm Rebecca G., the breeder behind Wild at Farm located in Kalamazoo, MI. We are proud to offer puppies with great genes, because great genes mean the health, temperament and instincts you are looking for in your next livestock guardian dog. This litter is the result of pairing Tundra and River - two amazing LGDs, each passing on distinct and desirable traits.
Q. & A. with Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
We knew we wanted to get livestock and a livestock guardian dog (LGD). What drew us to Maremmas specifically was their wonderful temperaments and dignified beauty. In comparison to other LGDs, Maremmas are less prone to wander, stay close to their flock, are smaller in size and don't bark incessantly. We want to give other families the opportunity to own one of these magnificent dogs.
What makes your program special?
What makes our breeding program special is our dogs. We have dogs with great genetics which means excellent health, instincts and temperaments. We are committed to socialization and early training with our puppies and to helping families match up with the right puppy for their situation.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fluffy Fairytale Come True
If joy had four paws and a cloud-like coat, it would be our two Maremma sheepdog puppies. From the moment they tumbled into our lives, they’ve brought a kind of magic that only the gentlest guardians can offer. With soulful eyes and a regal fluff that turns heads on every walk, they’ve completed our family in ways we never imagined.
Whether they’re bounding through the backyard like synchronized snowballs or curling up beside us with their serene, watchful presence, these pups radiate love, loyalty, and a touch of mischief. Their protective instincts are already shining through—but so is their goofy charm. They’ve mastered the art of puppy cuddles, stolen our socks (and hearts), and made every day feel like a celebration of companionship.
We didn’t just get dogs—we gained two devoted friends, furry comedians, and gentle protectors. Our home feels fuller, warmer, and infinitely more joyful. If you’re lucky enough to meet them, prepare to be smitten.
