Wild Hearts Goldens

Kristin S.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Kristin S., the breeder behind Wild Hearts Goldens located in League City, TX. Golden Retrievers are the best! We raise our dogs and puppies in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Q. & A. with Kristin

  • Why did you start breeding?

We discovered our love for goldens several years ago when we brought home our first boy, Thor. He is by far the calmest, most laid-back dog I've ever known, and everyone loves him. When he was just a puppy, we discovered he had Ichthyosis, a skin condition that causes his skin to flake, causing dandruff. While Thor was otherwise healthy, we decided to have him neutered and planned to welcome more goldens into our home for breeding. Not only because they are the best dogs ever, but because we want to improve the genetics of goldens for many years to come, which is why we health test our dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are given love and affection from the first day they’re born and receive lots of attention and socialization. We follow the Puppy Culture program and our puppies are exposed to Early Scent Introduction (ESI), and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS).
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
