I'm Krystal J., the breeder behind Wild Hunt Huskies located in Louisville, KY. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.

Why did you start breeding?
I helped whelp my first 3 litters when I was 10 and 11 and fell in love with it and knew I wanted to breed if i could and that dream started coming true as I started looking for my second husky a couple years after my first had passed. I fell into Woolies and loved how they have very similar but also distinct differences to standards.What makes your program special?
I raise my pups in house with the whole family and they get to take trips to family we trust as we travel there about once a month so they are socialized with both kids and elderly. They are raised around a rescue mix and the older husky that isn't mom of the litter as well so they get to learn a few play styles. Since we live in Louisville they do get to heard cars, fireworks, and sirens before they even leave.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white, gray and white, red and white, sable and white, brown and white, agouti and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Krystal
Krystal has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Program update on 19 Sept. •…Phoenix got 100% cleared from the vet. Shes is Chic certified and got a clear on all health testing. Now just to wait on her heat and she'll have a date with Thor.

About Nanook
Nanook is sweet as can be to her humans, very submissive with other dogs. She loves just lounging inside but is always on my heels when I'm doing anything. She's a big talker but she wont howl for anything. She is AKC registered and has passed all health testing (embark, OFA Hips, OFA elbows, and OFA Eyes)

About Phoenix
Phoenix is a CHIC certified AKC Siberian Husky. She is an absolute sweetheart loving everyone with an especially sweet side for kids. She adored when Nanook had her pups, so I have no doubt she'll be a wonderful mom. Phoenix loves running and being outside, but she also is completely fine to just chill. Because of her love of running she is a slimmer girl so far anyways but she is a tall girl. She herself is a red seal Husky (genetic solid red carrying the agouti gene). In a very unhusky like way Phoenix does not talk unless she is in the crate alone (Nanook and Phoenix are crated in the same room) and that "talking" we joke sounds like demon dog. She also will occasionally howl when in the crate alone as well and it is absolutely gorgeous sounding (wish she would more).

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
