Q. & A. with Karla
Why did you start breeding?
I have been involved in breeding dogs, horses, goats & cows most of my life. In 2002 I purchased and started showing a Belgian Malinois. I learned a lot about proper breeding and genetic testing. After breeding Malinois for a few years I decided to go with more family-friendly breeds. I now have English Bulldogs and Bernese Mountain Dogs.
What makes your program special?
I live on a small cattle ranch. We have lots of room for our dogs to run and play. Puppies are exposed to many different noises and smells. They are well socialized by the time they are ready for their new homes. They live in the house and have access to outside through a doggy door which they learn to use by 6 weeks old. Sure makes cleanup easier...
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
