I'm Kay H., the breeder behind Wildwood Hounds located in Alpine, CA. We focus on breeding healthy, high-quality puppies. We enjoy showing our dogs and care deeply about this breed. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others. This is where amazing temperament, intelligence, and beauty meet!
Q. & A. with Kay
Why did you start breeding?
I bred my first litter of Borzoi in 1976 and my second in 1992. I breed to have something to show and course. I bred my first Greyhound litter in 2005. I usually only breed my bitches once, since litters are a lot of work.
What makes your program special?
I breed for sound minds and sound bodies. My dogs are beautiful, intelligent, and easy to live with. I try to raise them to be bomb proof.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
