Meet the breeder

I'm Annabelle W., the breeder behind Willow Grove Corgis located in Stoystown, PA. Our dogs are bred with health and temperament in mind. We breed for quality, not quantity. Our dogs live in our home. We stand by our dogs for their whole lives. Our dogs daily life consists of frozen enrichment, play time and hiking on our 40 acres/country back roads. They are raised around poultry and do well. Our dogs are beloved members of our family.

Q. & A. with Annabelle

  • Why did you start breeding?

After getting my first Pembroke Welsh Corgi, I absolutely fell in love with the breed.

  • What makes your program special?

We focus on temperament and health. We do not breed dogs with any reactivity or who have temperaments incorrect for the breed, and we do not breed dogs who have health problems. We also value structure and aim to preserve the natural herding instinct corgis possess.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We are so over the moon with our Jinu! Annabelle was so patient and made the process of finding our first puppy seamless! I am so grateful for finding such a knowledgeable owner who cares deeply for her animals. Our Jinu is such a sweet boy and the fact that she is willing to stay in touch so we can reunite mommy and son one day is such a reassuring feeling that we went with such a responsible breeder. There are so many breeders out there that are just chasing the sale but the level of trust we had in Annabelle was easy. She provided us proof that both of Jinu’s parents were clear of the 3 common corgi conditions. I will def recommend her to anyone looking for a new pup. Annabelle met us more than half way to drop off Jinu and that effort just makes us glad we went with her vs other corgi breeders.

We are so happy with our pup! Annabelle was very kind, responsive, and gave us all the info we needed. She drove to meet us too and was accommodating of our schedule. Our puppy is smart and sweet and we can tell she was cared for deeply before she came to us.

We had such a wonderful experience with Annabelle and can’t recommend her highly enough! From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive and made the entire process of bringing our puppy home feel seamless and easy. She kept us updated every step of the way with photos and information, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt completely prepared for our new puppy. It was also so clear how much love and care she gave him before he came home to us. When it was time to pick him up, she even sent us home with a thoughtful care package filled with things to help make his transition easier. We are so grateful to Annabelle for helping us bring our little guy into our family. Our puppy is already so loved, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely recommend Annabelle to anyone looking for a wonderful, caring and trustworthy breeder!
