Q. & A. with Hilary
Why did you start breeding?
My love for the Mini American Shepherds inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. I co-own our MAS with my mentor, Michelle, and work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for the MAS lines. I not only want to produce beautiful and healthy puppies but help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the breed will continue to move forward for generations to come. With that being said, Temperament absolutely comes first in my search to further my program for the best puppies I can help rear and eventually send off to their forever homes.
What makes your program special?
At Willow Ranch Minis, we produce excellent companions. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We're very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve. Welcoming a new puppy into your lives, home, and heart is a huge undertaking and blessing. We strive to find the right match for every puppy and his/her new family. And I am here to support you through out the life of your new family member.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
